There comes a time, in the life of any blog, where said blog has to buckle down and be a blog.
For this blog, that moment is now.
No longer will its contents be limited to sparse postings of finished creations and polished essays.
A blog, as defined by Merriam Webster himself, is:
“Goddamnit, kid, I told you I’m not Merriam Webster. In fact, I think they’re two different people. Leave me alone! I’m the fucking mail man! I don’t give a shit about your blog.”
I think we can all agree that it would be best to move towards that more traditional definition–if only to preserve the sanctity of the term–lest the blogosphere become completely overrun by *shudder* tumblr.
